Day 29

No time posted because it is the next day. I really didn't do any superhero deeds yesterday, but I did meet another superhero. A gentleman approached me yesterday morning while I was about to pay for my coffee. At first I thought he was going to ask me for money so I started thinking about how much I had - only 2 dollars and I had to buy my coffee. I noticed that he had a lottery ticket, so I thought, "Surely he is not going to ask me for money while he is holding a lottery ticket..." I would have given him money or bought him food - I've done that several times for others. That is probably one of my favorite superhero deeds. Anyway, back to the man. He said, "Ma'am where I come from you really shouldn't hold your purse like that. I can see straight in it and see your money." He was right. I explained that I never think about it because I live in such a small town (and I'm a superhero). He explained that he was from New York and that I should really hold my purse close to me. He was right - I thanked him. I wish that I had gotten his name. We superheros have to stick together. Maybe I will run into him again one day.
