I've found that I'm consistently inconsistent. I start off on a project (such as this blog) with high spirits and enthusiasm. Somewhere, somehow, it diminishes only to reappear a few years later.
My superhero deeds have continued, but more in the way of being a teacher, mother, and wife. Life takes over, dreams come and go.
Life continues to teach me lessons, and I continue to make stupid mistakes. Life.
I accept my life. It is a good life. It is a very good life. This Universe is amazing.
I do not beat myself up for being consistently inconsistent. It's me. It's life.

Hardee's in the Morning
My superhero deeds have been slim this week. Where are my powers? Maybe this is the year for others to be superheros. Now, don't take me wrong - I'm glad that there have been no instances for me to perform my superhero powers, but I do ponder if maybe I should do a few more little things to surprise someone and maybe make their day. Like these ladies here.
When I'm feeling not so superheroee in the morning, they always put a smile on my face. They are my superheroes. I love Hardee's in the morning!

Resolutions
This is a quick update to my resolutions:
Work in progress on all this. I think last week was a week for me to start getting myself straightened out.
Superhero Deeds:
I called 911 on a couple of kids riding bikes in the street close to me. One of the youngsters looked to be only 4 - no supervision. This is not the 1st time; he also darted out in front of my husband one day. I don't know if that was a superhero deed, but I didn't want them to get hurt.
My friend did some WONDERFUL superhero deeds. She took some of her daughters old clothes to one of our students that needed them. She also took them a ham during Christmas. Way to go Mrs. Hardy. I should make her a cape!
- I've bought the material for the capes.
- I've worked out this week and ran and no kryptonite.
- I shaved my legs yesterday.
- I did not meditate last week. It's hard to find a quiet spot in my house even when I'm alone because there are still 2 dogs there.
- I'm going to start sending out letters to children's homes.
- I haven't gotten anyone yet on their path to their pupose.

To Do in 2012
Here is my SuperHero list for 2012:
- Make me a cape
- Make someone else a cape (it is about others)
- Learn something new (thinking about shooting a gun or learning another language)
- Stop drinking FCB so much. This is my kryptonite. No superhero is perfect.
- Look like Kelly Ripa - body not face (that would be creepy)
- Meditate at least twice a week - meditating is great - I highly recommend it.
- Get my wonderful new cookbook finished
- Speak at Children's Homes. Help me, I'm nervous. This is my purpose in life - to tell my story to kids in children's homes. Pray for me.
- Help someone else understand they have a purpose and get them on their way to finding it.
- ENJOY every single day because God is with me even on those days that I think I'm alone - Isaiah 41:10.
- Shave my legs at least once a week.

Good Morning - Excellent EggNog Cake
Eggnog Cake - easy and delicious:
1 package pound cake mix
1 1/4 cups eggnog
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Beat all ingredients together until blended. Pour into lightly greased 9x5" loaf pan. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour or until done. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan to wire rack and cool completely.
I did not use fresh nutmeg. Delicious - if we had milk, it would be good with a glass of cold milk. It would also be good with a cup of coffee in the morning.
Superhero deed? My husband thought so.
